Well, back to our story. In 1998 in Philadelphia, Lloyd's parents' had a big party for their golden wedding anniversary. We both attended of course and for five days, we sang, danced, laughed and took walks through nature. Our friendship transformed into love! During the six months that followed, we wrote and phoned nearly every day. We prayed that God would show us the way to be together for His glory. I flew to Florida a few times, where we recorded the first six love songs we wrote to each other (now on CD#3) and when Lloyd came out to California for Christmas, we became engaged!
We were married the following year, the first day of the new millennium, January 1, 2000. Lloyd's expertise with the guitar, singing and playing in clubs and for Sunday Masses, coupled with my years of cantoring for churches prepared us for our music ministry which we call "Songs of Hope." We both felt a calling to reach out to others in faith and touch people's hearts through music.
Since then, we have written over 50 songs and enjoy singing and playing guitar each Sunday at our parish at Little Sisters of the Poor in San Pedro, California. We love sharing this music ministry together, and bringing joy to others with our musical gifts. Thank you for visiting our website, and checking out our songs and CD's.
